FAP701: Student Loan Television: Financial Aid 101

The American Hemerocallis Society (AHS) is pleased to solicit applications for an AHS Student Research Fellowship from graduate or undergraduate students using daylilies (plant genus Hemerocallis) as experimental organisms in original thesis research projects. A grant award will be made to successful candidate(s) for a maximum amount of $2,000 for the calendar year. Two (2) renewals of the grant may be made for a total of three years of support, based on submission of a satisfactory annual report in October of each year. A final report will be required, and AHS financial support must be cited in any publications resulting from the grant.All aspects of scientific research on Hemerocallis will be considered.

The Allied Healthcare Scholarship Program is offered to students enrolled or accepted in an allied healthcare education program. Students who attend a community college program are eligible for a scholarship up to $2,500. Students who attend a university program are eligible for a scholarship up to $3,000.
Applications for the Allied Healthcare Scholarship are accepted biannually in March and September. Scholarships funded under this program are intended to pay or repay tuition, required fees, books, supplies, and educational equipment costs related to the student?s allied healthcare education. All awards are subject to the availability of funding.

American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)?s Foundation of Research and Education (FORE) offers merit scholarships to outstanding undergraduate students pursuing degrees in health information administration and health information technology who have at least one full semester (6+ hours) of classes remaining in their course of study at the time the award is granted (August 31). Scholarships are also available to credentialed health information management (HIM) professionals pursuing graduate degrees in an area related to HIM practice.
