Scholarship Points Membership Tops Half a Million College Students
ScholarshipPoints.com, a free college scholarship rewards program, has reached 500,000 members and will award up to $100,000 in scholarships to college students this year.

To ensure funds are used for educational purposes, awards are sent directly to the student’s financial aid office.

Very often students assume scholarships are for athletes only, which is not true. There are many scholarships for other professions.
Yes, Scholarships are great, no doubt. It would be good though if students knew how to apply for financial aid. First you should try to get grants as they do not have to be repaid, then scholarships and then everything else.

Many people are trying for scholarships. Sure there are millions of them out there. However, it might be the time to try other approaches in locating scholarships. These methods are free, too. First, try the high school guidance office. It has a list of local scholarships for current high school students. Second, the public library has a book listing scholarships with some not even listed on the web. Finally, try the college’s financial aid office. It has a list of private scholarships offered from outside organizations and companies. Sometimes a college major will list scholarships on its website too.
